Join our celebration of all things ART!
Ways to participate:
*Display your favorite creation from the year
*Enter our nature photography contest
*Enter our portrait contest of a person or animal
*Give an oral presentation about your piece (see helpful guide here).
ART EXPO:
Displayed art will be placed on tables. Please plan accordingly. Adding a name & title to your pieces is so helpful! Bring as many pieces as you would like, although 5 or 6 feels like a reasonable-but-flexible max;).
CONTESTS (Optional):
Nature Photography:
Photographers will submit their printed photos (5x7 ideal) which will be placed on the wall (no names attached). Max 3 entries per person.
Attendees will vote for their favorite nature photo in each category: Miniscule Nature, Colorful Nature, Nature in Motion, Ever-Changing Nature, Graceful Nature, Nature’s Patterns, Soft Nature, Tough Nature
Portrait Contest:
Artists are asked to use any media to create a portrait of either a human or an animal. Entries will be divided into one of three age groups & placed on the wall. Attendees will vote for their favorite in each age category. Max 1 portrait per person.
A portrait is a work of art that features a person or animal as the main subject. The portrait may be realistic, cartoon-style, or imaginative, and created with any media, but it should be your own original artwork rather than a copy of someone else's creation.
Presentations, Viewing, and Voting will be followed by open art stations.
2026-2027 Harmony Center Annual Membership credits can be used for this activity.
