About Instructor:
I’m Rebecca de Leon, a professional cosplay artist, educator, and founder of QUIKCOSPLAY. I’ve been creating costumes and props since 2007 and returned to cosplay full-time in 2017. Since returning to my craft, I’ve earned multiple awards including Chicago POC Cosplayer of the Year (2022) and completed contracted builds for several gaming studios, such as Resolution Games, connected to collaborations with Wizards of the Coast (Dungeons & Dragons). I hold a BA in Psychology and Fine Arts, focused on child growth, development, and art therapy. My classes provide a supportive, encouraging, hands-on environment where students build creativity, confidence, and crafting skills through cosplay.
