Road Trip the USA (ages 5-7) | Harmony Center for Homeschoolers

In each week of this 6 week course students will travel to a different region in the United States to learn and explore. There is no prerequisite for knowledge or reading ability as we learn and explore the states together.

Students in this course will:

be invited to share their own travel experience with the class if they choose.
have the opportunity to identify the states by finding states on the map.
identify key geographical, natural resources, animals, and attractions of each region to gain a greater understanding of the country.
work together to place pictures on a map representing what we learn together.

For each region they will create a craft or activity and fill out their travel scrapbook with the points that interest them most about the region we discovered that day.

The goal of this course is to have fun as students gain exposure to the different areas of the United States and spark interest in further exploration and travel!
