Discover the art of watercolor painting! This engaging introductory class helps students build strong painting skills while exploring both creativity and technique. Artists will learn essential watercolor methods such as washes, wet-on-wet effects, smooth color blending, layering (glazing), dry brushing, masking, and texture-making with salt. Through guided projects, students will creatively engage with five particular challenges to gain a solid foundation of skills to complete watercolor artworks.
Supplies costs (Please add-on at checkout): Cost for wooden boards for mounting paper, quality paints, cold pressed watercolor paper, brushes and other painting tools: $25
