2025-2026 Pathfinders NOVAS Learning Pods

What is it?

We're excited to once again offer Harmony Pathfinders Learning Pods.  This is for kids who are interested in a rich, child-led learning cohort one day each week, where "agency" & positive relationships are nurtured.  Pathfinders focuses on building community and interpersonal skills, hands-on learning through project-based challenges, application of academic skills like reading/writing (vs. explicit instruction), and critical thinking.

​​Pathfinders is a once weekly, five-hour drop-off program for kids ages 8-14 that continues throughout the academic year (with breaks every 6-8 weeks).  Registration for Pathfinders will open July 19th, 2025 and close August 30th for September 9th, 2025 through May 12th, 2026.  ​Kids will stay with their Pathfinder Learning Pod all day, grouped loosely by age/readiness, but regularly interacting with/learning alongside kids of all ages/pods.

NEW registrants:

Please note, prior to registration as Pathfinders, families must apply and be approved for a Harmony Membership. New Membership info here.

Students who are new to the Pathfinder program are expected to complete a trial day prior to admission to the program. New fall registrants may enroll in a trial day to be held Sept. 9th (the opening day of the program). Please note that while completing the trial day does not guarantee admission to the program, a spot will be held for you for the 2025-6 academic year in the event that all parties agree to finalize the registration after the trial.

Trial day for admission to the full 2025-2026: Sept. 9, 2025 (or during the 2024/5 academic year).

Trial day for admission to second semester only (Jan-May): Contact Betsy at one.harmony.center@gmail.com to set up a trial day during first semester.
